Driving and Dementia: Balancing Safety, Independence, and Dignity is an online workshop designed to help family and friend caregivers better understand the challenges that arise when a person living with dementia continues to drive. Hawaiʻi‑based experts will explain how cognitive, visual, and motor changes influence driving ability, highlight warning signs of unsafe driving, and offer practical strategies for approaching difficult conversations with compassion and respect.
