You are welcomed and invited to attend the PEACE 2025 virtual Munch and Learn Series beginning June 19^th  12:00- 1:00 PM  HST with an interactive case-based presentation on Medical Ethics by Jennifer Kwok LCSW and Alan Gamble LCSW.

The PEACE (Program, Promoting Engagement, Aloha, & Compassion in the Everyday Care of People Facing Serious Illness) is a continuing training series for social workers, and others, who are interested in developing their knowledge, understanding and skills working with individuals and families who are experiencing serious illness. This includes a focus on the unique contributions that professional social workers provide on the interdisciplinary team.  

This training is provided by Hui Pohala, Social Work Special Interest Group and co-sponsored by Hawaii Pacific Health.  This training is at no cost to participants.

This Care Home ECHO Series is a monthly Zoom webinar on the third Thursdays of the month for Community Care Foster Family Home operators, Adult Residential Care Home operators, and Expanded Adult Residential Care Home operators. On July 17, 2025, Martha Khlopin will present on Medicare Drug Coverage (Part D).

Program Overview

This one hour session covers topics essential for care home and foster home operators.  Topics include the 4Ms of geriatrics: What Matters, Medication, Mentation (or Mind) and Mobility  which are based on evidence-based practices that support healthy aging.
