Caring for the Caregiver: Dementia by Day with Rachael Wonderlin

Dementia by Day: Creative Communication & Care Approaches for People Living with Dementia” – Project Dana is honored to host dementia care expert, Rachael Wonderlin, founder of Dementia by Day and author of When Someone You Know Is Living in a Dementia Care Community and the viral essay if I Get Dementia. Drawing from her evidence-informed and person-centered approach, Rachael will guide family caregivers through creative communication strategies, meaningful engagement activities, and practical tools for managing behavioral changes. Her workshop emphasizes empathy, flexibility, and the art of “stepping into their world” helping caregivers nurture connection and reduce stress while supporting individuals living with dementia.
