DESCRIPTION:Trainer: Lourdes “Lou” Vergara Marcelo\, RN\, CDN\, CM\, CDP\, CEO of Advanced Care Training\, LLC \nThis training featuring offers caregivers the opportunity to learn about:\n• Prevention for skin injury for sedentary or bed-bound life\, incontinence\, and briefs.\n• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) refers to specialized clothing and equipment worn to protect individuals from various hazards at home\, work\, or during medical procedures. \nFree workshop for caregivers who meet the following criteria:\n• Caregiver provides unpaid care to an individual at least 60 years old.\n• Individual receiving care lives in the community and not in a nursing home or care home. \nSeating is limited. Registration is required by Monday\, June 23rd.
