SUMMARY:Cultivating Care: Memory Café - Cultivation
DESCRIPTION:The Cultivating Care: Memory Café is a monthly garden-based program for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Held at Ho‘ōla ʻĀina Pilipili Accessible Garden site\, each gathering offers a welcoming outdoor space to connect\, create\, and build community through meaningful\, accessible activities.  \nThe garden includes wide pathways\, shaded areas\, seating\, accessible restrooms\, lighting\, and nearby parking. We provide all tools\, gloves\, and garden materials\, and serve light refreshments at each session. Registration is required\, and a map with parking and site details will be shared upon sign-up.  \nParticipants will be asked to sign in at the event and complete a brief evaluation form to support and improve the program. DESCRIPTION:Living well with dementia is deeply influenced by the mindsets of both people living with dementia and their caregivers. Learning to Live with Dementia is a new support and education program model that combines a structured series of brief lessons with facilitated group sessions designed for people living with dementia and for caregivers to reflect on and share their experiences. \nThis innovative approach promotes a shift in perspective—focusing on what people can do to live well with dementia and providing practical strategies to support that goal. SUMMARY:Cultivating Care: Memory Café - Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Cultivating Care: Memory Café is a monthly garden-based program for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Held at Ho‘ōla ʻĀina Pilipili Accessible Garden site\, each gathering offers a welcoming outdoor space to connect\, create\, and build community through meaningful\, accessible activities.  \nThe garden includes wide pathways\, shaded areas\, seating\, accessible restrooms\, lighting\, and nearby parking. We provide all tools\, gloves\, and garden materials\, and serve light refreshments at each session. Registration is required\, and a map with parking and site details will be shared upon sign-up.  \nParticipants will be asked to sign in at the event and complete a brief evaluation form to support and improve the program.
