SUMMARY:Cultivating Care: A Memory Café
DESCRIPTION:The upcoming Cultivating Care: A Memory Café will be held on Thursday\, September 24\, 2026\, from 4:30–6:00 PM at the Hoʻōla ʻĀina Pilipili Accessible Community Garden. \n🌻 September Activities – Cultivation \nOctober 22 – Connection \nNovember 19 – Creation \nDecember 10 – Celebration \nThis month\, we will plant sunflower seeds to grow and take home\, plant herbs in the garden together\, create a group collage using photos from the past year\, and make name tags. \nNote: Due to the end of our current grant funding\, we will also be shifting from catered food to an *optional* potluck for our upcoming events. If you are able and would like to bring a small dish or snack to share\, you are welcome to do so\, but there is absolutely no obligation. \n\n🌿  Helpful Reminders \n\n\nAll materials and gardening supplies will be provided. \n\n\nThe garden has wheel-chair accessible pathways with nearby parking\, shaded seating\, and restrooms. \n\n\nPlease wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes. You are also welcome to bring a hat and water bottle. \n\n\nA map with parking details is attached. The garden is located off Metcalf Street next to the University Laboratory School and the UH College of Education portables.
